SMS Terms and Conditions

These SMS Terms and Conditions (“SMS Terms”) govern text messages sent by CO Buildings (“CO Buildings,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By giving CO Buildings permission to text you, you agree to these SMS Terms.

1. SMS Program Description

CO Buildings uses text messaging to continue communications initiated or requested by customers. Messages may concern:

  • Customer questions and requests
  • Product or service information requested by the customer
  • Quotes and estimates
  • Appointment scheduling and reminders
  • Orders, deliveries, and installations
  • Project status updates
  • Customer service and support

This SMS program is intended for conversational and service-related communications. CO Buildings does not use this program to send unsolicited advertising or marketing messages.

2. Consent to Receive Messages

Customers may give verbal permission to receive text messages during a telephone conversation with a CO Buildings representative. Before sending a text message, the representative will explain the nature of the messages and ask the customer to confirm permission to text the mobile number provided.

By providing verbal permission, you authorize CO Buildings to send text messages concerning your inquiry, quote, appointment, order, project, or support request.

Consent applies only to CO Buildings and is not transferable to another business. Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of purchasing goods or services.

3. Message Frequency

Message frequency varies depending on the nature of your inquiry, transaction, or project.

4. Message and Data Rates

Message and data rates may apply. Your wireless carrier may charge you for sending or receiving text messages according to your mobile-service plan. CO Buildings does not impose a separate charge for participating in this SMS program.

5. How to Opt Out

You may cancel text messages at any time by replying STOP to any message from CO Buildings.

After you reply STOP, CO Buildings will send a confirmation that you have been unsubscribed. No further text messages will be sent through this SMS program unless you subsequently provide new consent.

Other recognized opt-out requests may include CANCEL, END, QUIT, REVOKE, OPTOUT, or UNSUBSCRIBE.

Opting out of text messaging does not prevent CO Buildings from communicating with you by telephone, email, mail, or another appropriate method concerning an existing request, order, project, or legal obligation.

7. Supported Carriers and Delivery

Message delivery is subject to the availability and operation of wireless networks and services. Mobile carriers are not responsible for delayed or undelivered messages. CO Buildings cannot guarantee that every message will be delivered or received.

8. Your Responsibilities

You represent that:

  • You are the subscriber or customary user of the mobile number provided.
  • You are authorized to consent to text messages at that number.
  • The information you provide is accurate.
  • You will notify CO Buildings if your mobile number changes or is reassigned.

If your number changes or you are no longer its subscriber or customary user, please reply STOP before discontinuing use of the number or notify CO Buildings using the contact information above.

9. Privacy

Information collected and used through the SMS program is handled according to the CO Buildings Privacy Policy, available at:

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties, except vendors that provide services necessary to deliver and support the text messaging program. Those vendors may use the information only to perform those services on our behalf.

10. Changes to These SMS Terms

CO Buildings may update these SMS Terms periodically. Updated terms will be posted on this page with a revised effective date. Changes will apply prospectively as permitted by applicable law.

11. Termination

CO Buildings may suspend or terminate the SMS program or your participation in it at any time. Any termination will not affect rights or obligations that arose before termination.
